Meet Giselle Martins
First, I identify myself as human, second as a therapist. This allows me to honour how perfectly imperfect every person is and hopefully it can bring a sense of compassion, authenticity and lack of judgement into the work I offer.
I have postgraduate studies in Psychology, with all my trainings done in New Zealand, Brazil and United States, focused on somatic, cultural, indigenous and humanistic perspectives for mental health.
Drawing from over 15 years of dedicated meditation practice, I bring a deep understanding of mindfulness and inner peace to my work. I am a certified Taiji & Qigong Instructor with extensive training including at the Wudang Mountains in China, renowned as the birthplace of Internal Martial Arts.

This is a therapeutic approach that combines principles of archetypal psychology with astrological and indigenous frameworks.
In our 1:1 online sessions, we delve into archetypes as symbols and patterns within the human psyche, aiming to interpret and understand individual personalities, life experiences, and potentials.
Trauma Integration
Traumatic memories can be stored in the body, making "talk therapy" alone limiting in the healing process.
In my in-person Somatic & Transpersonal Therapy sessions, you'll explore releasing stagnant emotions and connecting with deeper feelings through body awareness, breathwork, and movement. This integrative approach recognizes the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit.
