Meet Giselle Martins

I’m a qualified therapist who has walked my own path through complex trauma, loss, and life’s uncertainties, and as a migrant and Buddhist practitioner, I bring that lived experience into my work with compassion and presence.

For over 10 years, I’ve supported people from all walks of life to heal, reconnect with themselves, and find resilience, weaving together evidence-based therapy, somatic practices, and mindful awareness. 

​

Guided by humility and a deep respect for each person’s journey, I help others discover balance, inner strength, and a sense of peace in their lives.

Emotional Resilience Counselling

Our online sessions can help you to cultivate the skills and attitudes necessary to navigate life’s ups and downs with greater strength, flexibility, and emotional wellbeing.

Archetypes Counselling

This is a therapeutic approach that combines principles of archetypal psychology with astrological and indigenous frameworks.

 

In our 1:1 online sessions, we delve into archetypes as symbols and patterns within the human psyche, aiming to interpret and understand individual personalities, life experiences, and potentials.

Trauma Integration

Traumatic memories can be stored in the body, making "talk therapy" alone limiting in the healing process.

 

In my in-person Somatic & Transpersonal Therapy sessions, you'll explore releasing stagnant emotions and connecting with deeper feelings through body awareness, breathwork, and movement. This integrative approach recognizes the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit.

Mindfulness Classes

The practice of presence not only nurtures mental clarity and emotional balance but also opens the door to profound insights and spiritual growth.

 

Through Breath Awareness, Movement with Qigong & Taiji, and Meditation practices, you will learn how to find refuge in the calm stillness that resides within you.
